Plants to Grow This Fall

Fall is just around the corner and here are some things to plant!

If you're more of a flower person like I am you can plant spring blooming flowers. Spring blooming flowers include tulips, daffodils, bleeding hearts, and alliums. You can also plant fall flowers. Fall flowers are a beautiful way to add color to the cool crisp fall and into the early winter. You have your pansies, petunias, daisies, dianthus and much more! These flowers typically can handle the cold as long as its above 20 degrees.

There are plenty of delicious cool season vegetables that you can also plant. Spinach, lettuce, winter squash, carrots, zucchini, are excellent options. Lets not forget pumpkins! Pumpkins have so many colors and sizes, but don't forget they need a lot of room to grow. Pumpkin vines can reach up to 30 feet!
